Pentastar Aviation Charter Inc. Expands Operations

Pentastar has expanded its Part 135 direct air carrier services in support the new Chicago-Midway (MDW) to Oakland County (PTK) service offered by Lakeshore Express. Flights along this new route are scheduled to begin later this spring. Pentastar has operated a SAAB 340 for Lakeshore Express since the summer of 2011, providing service between MDW and Pellston, MI (PLN).

The charter sales department at Pentastar Aviation is pleased to welcome Stefan Sears to their growing team. Sears, who joins a team with representatives based in the Midwest and East Coast regions, will be based in New York. He joins Pentastar with extensive charter sales experience.

Pentastar’s Bruce Lundquist named National Avionics Technician of the Year

Bruce Allan Lundquist, Avionics Systems Specialist at Pentastar Aviation, has been named the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) General Aviation Awards’ National Avionics Technician of the Year for 2013. Last month, Bruce – who has been with Pentastar for more than 30 years – was named the 2013 Michigan Avionics Technician of the Year.

Pentastar Aviation raises funds, awareness for Sky Hope Network at NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference

Pentastar Aviation announced the final results of their “Strikes for Sky Hope” campaign in partnership with Sky Hope Network at the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Grand Prize Luncheon last week. “Team Pentastar” raised $800 for the non-profit business aviation-based organization.
