Pentastar Aviation to Introduce Avionics Solutions at NBAA2016

Waterford, Mich. – Pentastar Aviation will unveil its wireless charging solution for business aircraft cabins, in partnership with Cobalt Aerospace, during the National Business Aviation Association’s annual Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (NBAA2016) held November 1-3, 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

The Cobalt wireless charging unit accepts aircraft power and provides contained wireless charging, eliminating the need for cords and adapters. This lightweight unit allows for the seamless integration of the charging unit into virtually any aircraft cabin enabling the many devices being introduced with wireless charging capabilities an efficient way to charge while in-flight. Clients can see a demonstration and model of the lightweight Cobalt charging units integrated into a business aircraft drink rail in Pentastar’s booth 1408 at NBAA2016.

In addition, aircraft owners can learn more about SmartSky Networks 4G connectivity system that Pentastar Aviation will develop STCs for Gulfstream GIV-X (G350/G450) and GX-SP (G500/G550) aircraft and was also named a partner for hardware sales and installations on other corporate aircraft earlier this year. Sales personnel will be on site at NBAA2016 for those who would like to take advantage of the pricing incentives through Pentastar for installation on the first G350/G450 and the G500/G550 aircraft to book the SmartSky 4G installation. Pentastar is offering this incentive on top of the Early Bird incentives being offered by SmartSky for signing up for the 4G hardware and service.
