Setting the Standards for Business Aviation Careers

Pentastar Aviation is setting the standard in private aviation by hiring the most talented, qualified and exceptional individuals for careers in business aviation. From pilots to technicians, our team members benefit from a vibrant and thriving company committed to leading the way in aviation innovation.

History

Established in 1964, originally as the internal flight department for the Chrysler Corporation. Today, under the ownership and nearly century-old family aviation legacy of Edsel B. Ford II, we provide aircraft management, advisory, maintenance, avionics, interior, and award-winning FBO services, industry-leading Fivestar Gourmet® catering, and private jet charter operated through Pentastar Aviation Charter, Inc.

For over 50 years, our focus has remained on setting the standard in aviation services. This focus enables us to serve a wide spectrum of customers including privately held and publicly traded companies, as well as Fortune 100 customers, air ambulance providers, and some of the most dynamic business people of this time.  Having the only privately held jet bridge in the U.S. also allows us to accommodate larger aircraft, higher passenger counts, professional sports teams, and international groups. Our FBO is also one of a few DCA Approved Gateways, which allows direct access into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, enabling us to cater to heads of state as well.

Culture

  • Innovative – We are a small company that does big things. Our facilites and the aircraft we fly are state-of-the-art, and we have the tools to help us work efficiently and effectively.
  • Transparent – We believe in keeping our employees up-to-date on our business and initiatives.
  • Engaging – We know our employees are our greatest asset – that’s why we have very low turnover and many of our employees have been with us for over 30 years.
  • Dedicated – We have an unwavering commitment to service excellence – we empower our employees which, in turn, allows them to provide the best customer service, possible.
