Systems Integration Analyst
The Systems Integration Analyst reviews, analyzes and evaluates existing systems, business processes and user needs. In this role, the candidate will facilitate business process improvements via methodical investigation, analysis, review, and documentation of functional business requirements. Relies on experience and expert judgment to plan project work and accomplish goals. The Systems Integration Analyst is the primary interface between the department subject matter experts (s)and software partners and must demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Systems Integration Analyst Major Job Functions:
- Acquires an understanding of the business issues and data challenges of the organization
- Documents requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to proposed solutions
- Communicates effectively with department SMEs to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Ensures that business needs are satisfied within a given technical solution
- Facilitates information gathering sessions
- Conducts business process assessments; determines as-is state
- Performs gap analysis, creating future state roadmap and transition plans
- Coordinates user acceptance testing; assisting with issue resolution
- Assists in project vision refinement and prioritization
- Acts as the primary point of contact for the SMEs, product development, and software vendors, providing both day-to-day support and driving system enhancements
- Enhances connections with existing and new interfaces. Troubleshoots interface issues as they arise through all stages of development and implementation
Presents findings and recommendations to executive management as requested Systems Integration Analyst Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technical or business management discipline
- High attention to detail, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to problem solve, make sound decisions and resolve conflicts
- Ability to multi-task complex projects and meet deadlines
- Ability to quickly become proficient in various business operations
- Critical thinking, emotional intelligence, exceptional listening skills and situational awareness
- Ability to work with, and lead conversations with, a diverse group of stakeholders including executive management, department leaders, and SMEs
- Experience in solving internal needs through software design and optimization
- Aviation industry experience and/or education a plus
