Pentastar Aviation ranks among top five in industry surveys
Waterford, Mich., – Pentastar Aviation was recently voted the No. 1 FBO Chain in the 2010 Professional Pilot Magazine PRASE Survey. The Pentastar Aviation chain includes FBOs at Oakland County International Airport (KPTK). In addition to the No. 1 Chain ranking, Pentastar’s facility at KPTK was voted the No. 2 U.S. FBO in the same survey. The No. 2 ranking marks a significant improvement of five places, from a seventh place ranking in 2009. Pentastar Aviation – KPTK has been ranked among the top ten FBOs for six consecutive years, including the #1 ranking in 2005 and 2008.
Pentastar’s facility at KPTK was also voted #5 on AIN’s list of Best U.S. FBOs, which lists the top 40 FBOs. Pentastar has been ranked in the top five FBOs in AIN for the past four consecutive years.

Customer service initiatives at Pentastar include company-wide customer service training and a customer service certification program endorsed by NBAA.
