Waterford, Mich. – Pentastar Aviation’s web-based “MTX Control” interface allows maintenance managers to conduct oversight of their work scope in real time – from anywhere in the world.  The interface uses photos, video and text to post discrepancies for approval in secure, password-protected accounts.

“I know what I would want as a customer,” said Tim Keffer, Pentastar Aviation Maintenance Control Supervisor.  “MTX Control was designed based on customers’ needs.  The interface allows them to efficiently oversee their work scope and keep the job moving forward, even if they are offsite.”

The new version of the interface is running smoothly and has generated positive feedback from customers.

Using the site is simple.  Pentastar’s maintenance control staff will set up an account for each individual maintenance manager.  Photos, videos and detailed text or audio descriptions of each squawk are uploaded to the account for approval.  The interface will be subject to improvements over time.

“MTX Control will evolve in the future,” said Keffer.  “We will continue to improve the user experience based on customer feedback and advancements in technology.”
