Best U.S. FBO and Best Independent FBO - Professional Pilot Magazine 2012

Waterford, Mich. – Pentastar Aviation’s fixed base operation (FBO) at Oakland County International Airport (KPTK) received the top ranking in both the Aviation International News (AIN) 2012 FBO Survey and the Professional Pilot Magazine 2012 PRASE Survey.  Pentastar Aviation clinched a top score of 9.3 on AIN’s survey, which garnered votes for 1,639 different FBOs.  Pentastar Aviation has been ranked in the top five FBOs in AIN for the past six consecutive years.  In Pro Pilot’s PRASE Survey, Pentastar Aviation earned the top rank for bothBest U.S. FBO and Best Independent FBO.

In addition to industry surveys, Pentastar Aviation has distributed an internal customer service survey to customers since early 2009.  In 2011, 1,088 of those internal surveys were returned by customers from both the KPTK and VNY locations.  Of those responses, 100 percent indicated that they would recommend Pentastar Aviation as a preferred FBO.  Pentastar Aviation also uses feedback from maintenance, management and charter customers to continuously improve the overall customer service experience.  Results are reviewed monthly by the executive management team, including quarterly reviews with Owner Edsel Ford.
