Pentastar Aviation Expands Award-Winning Catering Operation Fivestar Gourmet to Detroit Metropolitan Airport

WATERFORD, Mich. — Pentastar Aviation, a trusted partner in global private aviation services, is expanding its award-winning Fivestar Gourmet catering operation to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW), through the acquisition of Gourmet Airfare, a longtime provider of private aviation catering at the airport.

While Fivestar has long served customers traveling through DTW, this acquisition expands Fivestar’s footprint with a new full-service Fivestar Gourmet kitchen at DTW, complementing its original location at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) and strengthening the company’s regional catering capabilities.

Together, the two locations serve customers across Detroit City Airport (DET), Oakland County International Airport (PTK), Toledo Express Airport (TOL), Willow Run Airport (YIP), Ann Arbor Municipal Airport (ARB), Capital Region International Airport in Lansing (LAN) and surrounding markets. Existing Gourmet Airfare customers will transition seamlessly to the Fivestar brand.
