Detroit Pistons Fly in Style with Pentastar Aviation in the Cockpit

Waterford, Mich. – Pentastar Aviation has signed a contract with Roundball, LLC to provide comprehensive support for Roundball’s Part 125 operation of their MD-83 for use by the Detroit Pistons.  This contract is a natural extension of Pentastar Aviation’s extensive experience handling professional sports teams at Oakland County International Airport.

Under the agreement, Pentastar Aviation will provide an array of logistical support services for Roundball’s private carriage operations of the aircraft.  Both Roundball’s official base of operations and the MD-83 will be based at Pentastar Aviation’s Oakland County International Airport facilities.

Pentastar Aviation’s Stargate Terminal, equipped with the only privately-owned jet bridge in the United States, will be used to provide private and secure boarding operations for the Pistons organization as well as additional professional sports team traffic conducted by other operators.
