Pentastar Aviation Selects ALTO Aviation for the First Installation of an ALTO Entertainment Audio System in a Bombardier Challenger 350

Pentastar Aviation has partnered with ALTO Aviation to conduct the first installation of an ALTO Entertainment Audio System in a Bombardier Challenger 350. The upgraded system replaced the factory-installed transducer audio system with preferred conventional speakers and amplifiers, adding further significance to the Pentastar and ALTO partnership.

The new ALTO Entertainment Audio System included six (6) ALTO high fidelity mid/high range speakers and four (4) ALTO subwoofers displacing the original OEM panel transducers. Pentastar’s interior shop installed custom-fabricated speaker grills that were mounted in the upper sidewalls. In addition, two (2) ALTO digital amplifiers were specifically designed and installed to work with the existing factory IFE system, providing dedicated channels for each mid/high speaker and subwoofers.

The installation team at Pentastar Aviation provided extremely close attention to detail in mounting the mid/high speakers and installing the new speaker grills painted to match the aircraft interior. An ALTO cabin systems engineer tuned the system onsite to perfectly match the aircraft’s acoustic profile upon completing the installation.  “The clean installation looks direct from the factory, and the sound quality is enough to satisfy even the strictest of audiophiles,” added McFalda.
